Hmm... I see that :All of you have been focussing too much on the 3Rs that you forgot about the economical impacts of your ideas if they were to be put into action..Let's take more caution in this....Biodegradable plastics are EXPENSIVE, and also expensive to mantain AND recycle, and the likes of it. We have to be wary of economical impacts, and global politics....

The theme Give Earth a Chance calls on each and every one of us to contribute to the healing of the ailing planet. In spite of considerable efforts and significant achievements, many of the problems, which plagued the Earth during the 20th Century, still linger. More than ever, we need to take the necessary steps to ensure that the environment remains at the top of the global agenda.

According to the World Health Organization, 1.5 billion urban residents endure levels of outdoor air pollution that exceed maximum recommended levels. [glow=red,2,300]As many as half a million deaths can be attributed to particulate and sulphur dioxide air pollution alone, mostly from vehicle exhaust emissions[/glow]. One study estimates that up to one in five lung cancer cases in the United States are due to vehicle emissions.

What do you mean Az? I am quite sure about the money part, but the 'get to do recycling' I don't understand. Are you trying to say that recycling can be part of our habitual daily lives? Why not ? It should come instinctively hmm...I think you're right, Dr. but some people can't be bothered with these recyling stuff...

[glow=red,2,300][/glow]Our school can collect the weekly newspapers given to us,bundle them[each class], and place them into the recycle bin, to recycle the newspapers for each class. This way, we can recycle the newspaper more efficiently.
